Animals, color, music, and performances. These are some of my artistic influences! I draw inspiration from my pets, animals and their antics, and our personification of animals. I love Alexander Calder’s circus pieces, Wayne Thiebaud’s color palette, and children’s books illustrators like Oliver Jeffries (Lost and Found) and Leo Lionni (Frederick), and these things have undoubtedly influenced my work as well.
